Paper Stars

For over 160 years, Herrnhuter Stars are made traditionally hand made out of paper. Although the first stars were only sold in white and red – white symbolized the purity and red the blood of Christ – today, there is a much larger range of available colours. The stars come in five different sizes, ranging between 13cm and 80cm, and seven different colours. The bigger stars are made of individual paper pieces, whereas the smallest star is made only of one piece.
